Cookies and local storage this site uses

The Knowledge Hub itself does not set any cookies. It stores one thing in your browser's local storage: your cookie choice (accepted or declined), so we don't ask again every visit. That choice never leaves your browser and is not shared with anyone.

If you accept analytics below, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically_ga and _ga_<container-id>) to distinguish visitors across visits. If you decline, or don't make a choice, none of these are set and no analytics script loads at all.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the Knowledge Hub is used: which pages are visited, roughly how, and from where. That helps us improve it. It's aggregated usage data; we don't use it for advertising, and we don't run any ad personalization features.

Analytics only runs if you accept the cookie banner. Nothing is sent to Google beforehand. Some sites send an anonymous "no consent yet" signal by default even before you decide; we skip that too, so literally nothing about your visit reaches Google until you say yes.

Google LLC and its affiliates, including Google Ireland Limited, process this data as described in Google's own privacy policy. This may involve transferring it outside the EEA under Google's standard contractual safeguards. Data is retained for as long as configured in our Google Analytics account.

Your choice, and changing it later

You can accept or decline analytics tracking at any time using the button below. Your choice is remembered for about 12 months, after which we'll ask again.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time (see above). To exercise any of these, contact us at info@dataminded.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Belgium, that's the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données.

We'll update this page if what we collect or why changes, and update the date above accordingly.
